Every figure is sourced; where no public figure exists, we say so.
1 英國與倫敦留學生人數1 UK & London international student numbers
英國高等教育統計局（HESA）2026 年 1 月公布的 2024/25 學年數據顯示，全英高等教育在讀人數為 2,863,180 人，比上一學年減少約 1%。其中非英國籍（國際）學生為 685,565 人，佔全體學生約 24%，比上一學年減少 6.1%；國際新生（首次入學）為 404,555 人，減少 5.4%。HESA figures published in January 2026 for the 2024/25 academic year put total UK higher education enrolments at 2,863,180, about 1% lower than the previous year. Non-UK (international) students numbered 685,565, roughly 24% of all students, down 6.1% year on year, while international entrants fell 5.4% to 404,555.
降幅集中在授課式碩士：2024/25 學年修讀全日制研究生課程的學生中，68% 來自英國以外；非英國籍的授課式碩士新生比上一學年減少 10%。本科生層面，國際學生人數大致持平。新入學國際學生的主要來源地為印度（23%）、中國（23%）、巴基斯坦（8%）與尼日利亞（6%）。The decline was concentrated in taught master’s courses: 68% of full-time postgraduate students in 2024/25 came from outside the UK, and non-UK entrants to taught master’s degrees fell 10% year on year. At undergraduate level, international numbers were broadly flat. The main origins of newly enrolled international students were India (23%), China (23%), Pakistan (8%) and Nigeria (6%).

London higher education institutions hosted around 208,000 international students in 2023/24, and a 2026 HEPI report, based on students’ actual term-time addresses, found around 143,200 international first-year students living in London in 2024/25 — the highest of any English region. By institution, UCL has long had the largest international cohort in the UK, at around 15,000 in 2024/25 (52% of its students); King’s College London had 15,690 (38%) and Imperial College London 11,905 (53%).

2 大學錄取與發 Offer 情況2 University offers & admissions
英國大學招生服務機構（UCAS）2026 年 7 月公布的 2026 入學週期 6 月截止數據顯示，申請總人數為 695,740 人，比 2025 年增加 4.6%；其中國際申請人為 148,350 人，增加 7.1%（非歐盟 126,000 人、歐盟 22,000 人）。以來源地計，中國是最大的國際市場，申請人數 38,000 人，增加 12.2%；印度 11,470 人、美國 8,270 人、香港 4,990 人（減少 1.9%）。UCAS data for the 2026 cycle at the 30 June deadline, published in July 2026, show 695,740 applicants in total, up 4.6% on 2025, including 148,350 international applicants, up 7.1% (126,000 from outside the EU and 22,000 from the EU). By origin, China was the largest international market at 38,000 applicants, up 12.2%, followed by India at 11,470, the USA at 8,270 and Hong Kong at 4,990 (down 1.9%).
發放 Offer 方面：截至 6 月 30 日，全部主輪申請中約 2,073,540 份已獲發 offer，比 2025 年增加 3.2%；整體 offer 發放率為 72.6%。國際申請人的主輪申請中，362,720 份已獲發 offer（增加 5.0%）；112,340 名國際申請人至少取得一個 offer，比 2025 年增加 5.5%，是各組別中增幅最大的一組。On offers: by 30 June, about 2,073,540 main-scheme applications had received an offer, up 3.2% on 2025, with an overall offer rate of 72.6%. For international applicants, 362,720 main-scheme applications had received an offer (up 5.0%), and 112,340 international applicants held at least one offer — up 5.5% on 2025, the largest increase of any group.
2025 週期結束時，UCAS 錄得 759,830 名申請人、577,725 名獲錄取者；國際學生錄取人數比上一年增加 6.8%，佔全部錄取人數的 12.9%（2024 年為 12.4%，2020 年為 14.9%）。另外，UCAS 的國際申請人調查顯示，已經確定升學國家的申請人中有 79% 選擇英國，比去年下降 3 個百分點。At the end of the 2025 cycle, UCAS recorded 759,830 applicants and 577,725 accepted applicants; international acceptances rose 6.8% year on year and made up 12.9% of all acceptances (12.4% in 2024 and 14.9% in 2020). UCAS’s international applicant survey also found that 79% of applicants who had settled on a destination chose the UK, down 3 percentage points on last year.
英國授課式碩士的錄取與發 Offer 數據暫無公開數據——UCAS 只涵蓋本科申請，研究生錄取並不在其統計範圍內。No public figure is available for UK taught master’s admissions: UCAS covers undergraduate applications only, and postgraduate admissions fall outside its statistics.
3 申請難度分析3 Application competitiveness
看申請難度，最直接的公開指標是 offer 發放率。2026 週期 6 月截止數據顯示：英國本地申請人提交的申請中 74.9% 獲發 offer，英國 18 歲申請人為 79.9%，而國際申請人為 63.6%，比 2025 年的 64.1% 下降 0.5 個百分點。以申請人計，91.0% 的國際申請人至少取得一個 offer（上升 0.5 個百分點）。換言之，國際申請人拿到 offer 的比例很高，但每一份申請獲發 offer 的比例明顯低於本地申請人。The clearest public measure of competitiveness is the offer rate. At the June deadline of the 2026 cycle, 74.9% of applications from UK-domiciled applicants received an offer, rising to 79.9% for UK 18-year-olds, against 63.6% for international applicants — down 0.5 percentage points from 64.1% in 2025. Measured by applicant, 91.0% of international applicants held at least one offer (up 0.5 percentage points). In other words, most international applicants do receive an offer, but the share of individual applications that convert to an offer is clearly lower than for UK applicants.
申請量的分佈同樣影響難度：2026 週期向高門檻院校（higher tariff providers）申請的國際申請人為 123,500 人，比 2025 年的 114,000 人增加 8.3%，而中低門檻院校的國際申請人數下降。申請人愈集中在少數高門檻院校，個別院校與學科的競爭就愈激烈。Where applications go matters too: 123,500 international applicants applied to higher-tariff providers in the 2026 cycle, up 8.3% from 114,000 in 2025, while international applications to medium- and lower-tariff providers fell. The more applications concentrate on a small number of higher-tariff institutions, the fiercer competition becomes for individual universities and subjects.
UCAS 的國際申請人調查亦顯示申請人對成本的敏感度上升：52% 表示生活成本上升、51% 表示學費，是他們重新考慮升學目的地的主要原因；12% 表示英國的政策變動令他們卻步，比去年上升 5 個百分點。UCAS’s international applicant survey also shows rising cost sensitivity: 52% cited rising living costs and 51% tuition fees as reasons for reconsidering their study destination, while 12% said UK policy changes deterred them — up 5 percentage points on last year.
個別院校與個別學科的錄取率暫無公開數據——英國大學一般不公布逐個課程的申請數與錄取率，此項沒有可引用的公開數字。No public figure is available for acceptance rates by university or subject: UK universities do not generally publish per-course application and acceptance numbers, so there is no citable public figure here.
4 QS 排名與院校新聞4 QS rankings & university news
QS 於 2026 年 6 月 18 日公布 2027 世界大學排名，共收錄 1,500 多所院校。前十名中，麻省理工學院連續第 15 年排第一；帝國理工學院與史丹福大學並列第二；牛津大學第四、哈佛大學第五、劍橋大學第六；倫敦大學學院（UCL）並列第八。G5 五校的 2027 排名分別為：帝國理工學院第 2、牛津大學第 4、劍橋大學第 6、UCL 第 8、倫敦政治經濟學院（LSE）第 62。其他倫敦院校：國王學院第 37、倫敦瑪麗女王大學第 103。QS published its World University Rankings 2027 on 18 June 2026, covering more than 1,500 institutions. In the top ten, MIT ranked first for the 15th consecutive year; Imperial College London and Stanford University tied for second; the University of Oxford came fourth, Harvard fifth, the University of Cambridge sixth, and UCL joint eighth. The five G5 universities ranked as follows for 2027: Imperial 2nd, Oxford 4th, Cambridge 6th, UCL 8th and the London School of Economics (LSE) 62nd. Other London institutions: King’s College London 37th and Queen Mary University of London 103rd.
與院校相關的政策消息方面：英國政府已確認自 2027 年 1 月起，畢業生簽證（Graduate Visa）的標準期限由 24 個月縮短至 18 個月；英格蘭將自 2028/29 學年起，就每名國際學生向院校收取每年 £925 的徵費。另一方面，自 2024 年 1 月起，修讀授課式碩士的國際學生不能再帶同家人來英，2025 年學生家屬簽證約 20,000 份，比 2023 年的高峰減少 86%。2025 年英國共發出約 406,824 份學生簽證，比 2024 年增加 4%，但仍比 2022 年的高峰低 16%。On policy news affecting universities: the UK government has confirmed that from January 2027 the standard Graduate Visa period will be cut from 24 to 18 months, and England will charge universities a £925 annual levy for each international student from the 2028/29 academic year. Separately, since January 2024 international students on taught master’s courses can no longer bring family members to the UK; around 20,000 student dependant visas were issued in 2025, 86% below the 2023 peak. The UK issued about 406,824 student visas in 2025, up 4% on 2024 but still 16% below the 2022 peak.
排名只反映 QS 自身的方法與指標，不同排名的結果可以相差很遠，建議同時參考學科排名與課程資料，不要只看一個總排名。Rankings reflect QS’s own methodology and indicators only, and different rankings can diverge widely; subject tables and course-level information are worth checking alongside any overall position.
5 倫敦留學生生活成本5 Cost of living for students in London
英國政府對學生簽證申請人的財力要求，是現時唯一具官方約束力的「最低生活成本」數字：在倫敦（指倫敦市與 32 個自治市）就讀的課程，須證明每月 £1,529、最多 9 個月（合共 £13,761）；倫敦以外為每月 £1,171、最多 9 個月（合共 £10,539）。這筆款項須連續 28 天存放於帳戶，且 28 天的最後一天須在申請日前 31 天內。政府同時指出，這是下限而非建議預算。The UK government’s financial requirement for Student visa applicants is the only officially binding “minimum living cost” figure: for courses in London (the City of London and the 32 London boroughs) you must show £1,529 per month for up to nine months (£13,761 in total), and £1,171 per month for up to nine months outside London (£10,539). The money must be held in an account for 28 consecutive days, ending no more than 31 days before you apply. The government states this is a minimum, not a recommended budget.
實際租金水平方面：Save the Student 的 2026 年全國學生住宿調查（第 10 版）顯示，受訪學生平均月租為 £575，倫敦是最貴地區、平均每月 £793；蘇格蘭 £703、威爾斯 £475。同項調查中，61% 受訪者表示在支付租金上遇到困難，35% 曾在未看房的情況下租下單位，36% 曾因租金考慮退學。On actual rents, Save the Student’s National Student Accommodation Survey 2026 (its 10th edition) puts average rent at £575 per month across respondents, with London the most expensive region at £793 per month, followed by Scotland at £703 and Wales at £475. In the same survey, 61% of respondents said they struggled with the cost of rent, 35% had rented a property without viewing it and 36% had considered dropping out because of rent.
學生公寓（PBSA）方面，Unipol 與 HEPI 的 2024 年倫敦住宿成本調查顯示，倫敦學生公寓的平均年租為 £13,595，以約 45 週的合約計算，相當於每週約 £295。交通方面，合資格的 18+ Student Oyster 卡可在成人票價的 Travelcard 與巴士／電車季票上節省 30%，行政費 £22，須在入學註冊後申請；若同時綁定 16-25 Railcard，非高峰時段的即付即乘票價與每日上限可再獲三分之一減免。For purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), the Unipol and HEPI Accommodation Costs Survey 2024: London Edition found an average annual rent of £13,595 in the capital — about £295 per week over a contract of roughly 45 weeks. On transport, an eligible 18+ Student Oyster photocard gives 30% off adult-rate Travelcards and Bus & Tram season tickets for a £22 administration fee, and can only be applied for after enrolment; linking a 16-25 Railcard adds one third off eligible off-peak pay-as-you-go fares and daily caps.
倫敦學生每月總生活開支的單一官方數字暫無公開數據——官方只規定簽證財力的下限，學生的實際開支因住宿類型、地段與合約長短而差異很大。No public figure is available for a single official monthly total for student living costs in London: the official figure is only the visa financial minimum, and actual spending varies widely by accommodation type, area and contract length.
